We must not rely on our understanding to serve God but there's a minimal understanding that is still required.

Liar paradox

Anyone that takes the stand is lying. Man says his name is John.

It's either the man is lying or the original statement is a lie. Thus the Truth is concealed.

A theological paradox

A theological paradox occurs when two seemingly contradictory statement are both presented and are both held to be true by faith, even if human logic cannot fully reconcile them.

Statement 1, "Christ is our Salvation (truth)and eternal security (misleading) is a paradoxical statement when presented together" gets to the very heart of this. The paradox lies in the interaction between God's sovereignty and human responsibility.

John 10:27-29, which states that Jesus gives eternal life to His followers and that no one can snatch them from His hand. Additionally, Romans 8:38-39 emphasizes that nothing can separate believers from the love of God in Christ Jesus, reinforcing the assurance of salvation.

That assurance lies in obedience, faith and submission to Christ. For many are led astray for that alone.

Statement 2

Significance of Salvation in Christ and the magnitude of being able to be saved by God's Infinite grace

It implies there's two ways to salvation. The Truth again is concealed.

Many are led astray because of that paradoxical statement

The Truth is Salvation is in the person of Christ Jesus Alone.

in Acts 4:12: "Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Additionally, John 14:6 emphasizes that Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life,"

In John 14:15, Jesus states, "If you love me, keep my commandments." This emphasizes that love for Him is demonstrated through obedience to His teachings.

Caution: Guard your spiritual and mental well-being. As the story of Moses demonstrates, losing your peace can lead to costly missteps and cause you to stray from God's path.

Advice: Cross-reference any statement with the Word of God between chapters and books. A truthful statement will align with Scripture and not create a paradox.
