Human understanding is inherently limited and varies greatly from person to person. In other words, Man's thoughts have a degree of perfection which differs between gender, age, and other factors.

Yet, regardless of our perception, God's wisdom is perfect and His judgments are always right. As Scripture affirms, “'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the LORD. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts'" (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We can trust that God’s Word is eternally effective and will accomplish its purpose: “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).

Despite this truth, people often choose disobedience. Scripture provides clear examples of our flawed thinking:

· Pride: Cain’s jealousy led him to unalive his brother Abel (Genesis 4:1-8).

· Misguided Zeal: Peter attempted to prevent Jesus’ arrest by force, cutting off the ear of the high priest’s servant (John 18:10-11).

Jonah thought by fleeing, he would protect Israel of archenmy Jonah fled because he believed it would protect Israel from its archenemy, Assyria. Jonah 4:2

· Lust & Doubt: Eve was deceived by the serpent’s promise of wisdom, leading to the first sin (Genesis 3:1-6).

· Fear of Man: Saul disobeyed God’s command because he feared the people more than God (1 Samuel 15:24).

· Love for the World: Lot’s wife directly disobeyed God’s warning because her heart remained in Sodom (Genesis 19:26).

· Idolatry: The Israelites repeatedly turned to idolatry, forsaking the God who delivered them (e.g., Exodus 32, Judges 2:11-13).

These examples remind us that our own understanding is fallible. Therefore, we must humbly submit to God's perfect Word, trusting in His sovereign plan above our own. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

God is always Right regardless of our interpretation.
