How to Seek Deliverance

The hierarchy comes from holiness or ordinance

For the Minister:

1. Operate in Your Gift: Be led by the Holy Spirit and function within your spiritual gifting for deliverance.
2. Identify the Spirit: Discern the name or nature of the unclean spirit.
3. Take Authority: Command the spirit to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Pray and Intercede: Cover the process with fervent prayer.

For the Individual Seeking Freedom:

1. Repent: Turn away from sin and renounce all ties to the enemy.
2. Engage in Spiritual Disciplines:
· Fast regularly.
· Immerse yourself in worship and the Word of God.
3. Resist Temptation: Actively stand against the enemy's lies and attacks.
4. Maintain a Holy Lifestyle: Cultivate a life that is pleasing to God.
5. Testify: Share your testimony of freedom to strengthen yourself and others.

Important Warning: Be vigilant, as stronger spirits may return if a spiritual void is left. Therefore, be steadfast in your new life in Christ.

The cost of discipleship is everything.

Judas's failure was not merely the act of betrayal, but the condition of his heart that made it possible. The betrayal was the fruit, not the root.

This cost is illustrated throughout Scripture: in God's testing of Abraham and Job, in the poor widow who gave her last two coins, and in the rich young ruler who was asked to surrender his wealth.

The principle is clear: the more you have to relinquish, the greater the cost of following Christ.

There is a cost for your sin and a cost for being a disciple.

The cost is burdensome because of sin, the one who keeps you in darkness
