Yeshua (Jesus) declares:
1. "I am the Bread of Life"
(John 6:35, 48)
2. "I am the Light of the World"
(John 8:12, 9:5)
3. "I am the Door/Gate"
(John 10:7, 9)
4. "I am the Good Shepherd"
(John 10:11, 14)
5. "I am the Resurrection and the Life"
(John 11:25)
6. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life"
(John 14:6)
7. "I am the True Vine"
(John 15:1, 5)
Salvation is a Person
"Your salvation is not a thing—it’s a Person. Just as Yeshua declared, ‘I am the Light of the world’.
The real question isn’t ‘Can you lose your salvation?’ but rather: Can you walk away from your relationship with Him? Can you grow lukewarm, trading the work of faith for the work of righteousness.
Don't listen anyone who says otherwise.
For one their reward is on earth, people address them like they would address the Pharisees.
“ Master, what do you think about this?”
Instead of pointing them to ask God in prayer in the Mighty name of Jesus.
For two: they don't have to listen to God, they feed His sheep however they please as long as they pray before preaching.
But those who truly please the Lord obey His voice, otherwise they are Spirit-led.
For it is written:“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.Acts 2:17
For it is written: 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you [a]ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:13-26
It is also written: 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23
- "I am the Alpha and Omega" (Revelation 1:8, 22:13) – Jesus is eternal, the beginning and end of all things.
- "I am He" (Ego Eimi) – (John 8:24, 58), claiming identity with Yahweh (cf. Isaiah 43:10).
Salvation is not a destination—it is found in the person of Christ Jesus.
You are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Grace means there is nothing you can do to earn your salvation.
However, new believers must undergo sanctification. Egypt (world) must be removed from them.
The evil one is allowed to attack you, even in the wilderness. Though Pharaoh could not reach the wilderness, the devil still tempted the Israelites—using tactics such as:
- Making them lose sight of their salvation, Jesus, associating their salvation rather with the Promised Land
- Pushing them to bring Egypt into the wilderness by relentlessly attacking them.
- Pushing them to long for Egypt again, tempting them to turn back.
While in the wilderness one must denounce Egypt, denying their flesh, and live by the Word of God. It is not an easy journey. But this is part of drinking Jesus' cup of suffering.
That's why it is written:
Matthew 24:13-15
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Let this be a reminder: Anyone who preaches half-truths or false doctrine lacks spiritual sight. If one lacks wisdom, let them pray for it, for those who preach the gospel will be judged more severely. A single half-truth or false doctrine—such as "Salvation is a destination,""There is another way to salvation apart from Christ," “once saved always saved” “you can't lose your salvation for it is a gift as material gift ” , "salvation is a transformation", "salvation is an act "or "You must earn salvation through works", “you must receive your salvation (like a husband wouldn't pay his meek wife debt)”—is enough to send one to hell for it lead souls astray.
Salvation is Jesus, Yeshua
Do not confuse works of righteousness with works of faith, nor salvation with sanctification.
Christ alone saves us, and He sanctifies us through His Word. Those who are in Christ produce work of faith such as loving your neighbor not work of righteousness.
“Thank You, Lord, for the gifts of sight and discernment.
I pray that whoever repents and believes may see—just as Saul, who was once blind and persecuted Your saints, became Paul when his sight was restored through Ananias’ prayer. May they receive their spiritual sight at once. “
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Salvation is in the person of Christ Jesus, Yeshua.
Salvation is in the person of Christ Jesus, Yeshua.
But to be saved it's not merely to accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and have Faith in Him. You also have to drink His cup of suffering and Eat His manna, Word of God.
Lastly you have to obey His commandments to Love God and to love your neighbor
To understand why we must drink His cup of suffering,
We have to parallel the story of Joseph and His Crucifixion.
When Joseph brothers sold him to Egypt as a slave, he was distressed. Whether they had resentment against him, as the younger child, he has no idea and only cares about the approval of his brothers.
So now imagine, being held by two strangers, and scanning the faces of each of your brothers, and your cheek overflows with tears, and your heart racing, palpitating and crying for mercy but they NEVER showed mercy.
Now back to Jesus. The one who suffered by His side, Judas, from the tribe of Judah, He came to rescue, betrayed Him with a kiss on his cheek. But what follows is what is terrifying. Those who arrested him, brutalized His body so that what was written was accomplished. For when the soldier pierced His side, water came out. Just like when Moses struck the rock, water came out. God was offended, and grieved. It was personal.
This beating was so severe that at times victims would not survive it in order to go on to be crucified.
Those who were flogged would often go into hypovolemic shock, a term that refers to low blood volume.
The Romans were brutal, savage animals, cruel. To make matters worse, they laughed at Him, while they were beating Him, while nailing Him on the cross and while crucifying Him.
