Eve knew not of God
(she did not have a true, personal, and obedient relationship with God.)
Eve’s heart was hardened by lust, which prevented her from knowing God fully. This is why she could not discern between good and evil. When she ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, she gave the devil a legal ground to attack her mind. She was now gaining knowledge of evil and, through her actions, chose to defile her heart until it turned to stone. Eve was tempted by the devil—the unclean spirit of lust.
While we may be troubled by the events in the Garden of Eden, they reveal how the devil gained entry to wage war on mankind and corrupt the human mind.
Therefore, we must trust God with our souls, and in return, Jesus trusts us to honor Him. For the Word of God is the sword we use to defend ourselves, but holiness is the ground we stand on as we fight. So be holy, for our God is holy! Hosanna!
Did you know the garden was guarded by God's angels but it's not until Eve lust the devil showed up through that door. Protect the gates of your soul with the Word of God. Keep your mind holy.
Glory of God
Adam and Eve were created in the Glory of God when it comes to God's Character but were wrapped with the glory of man
The Image of God (Imago Dei): Our glory is rooted in being created to reflect God's character—love, justice, creativity, reason, and moral sense—into the world.
So when Adam forsake his relationship with Jesus for Eve, God forsake Jesus on the cross to restore our relationship with Him
Jesus took on the glory of man, to accomplish God's purpose for us to redeem us in Christ Jesus
Jesus when he comes back will have the Glory of His Father, our Father now in Christ
Jesus is the perfect image of God: "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being..." - Hebrews 1:3 (NIV).
Alleluia, Glory to God
