Three key events occurred in heaven prior to humanity's creation that are essential to understanding the spiritual conflict on earth:

First, Jesus was exalted as the Son of God. Second, God granted His creations—both angelic and human—the freedom of choice. Third, it was declared that angels, though powerful, were created to serve God's purposes, which included serving mankind.

However, a group of angels, led by Lucifer, rebelled against this divine order. Driven by pride and a desire to exalt themselves as gods, they rejected their role. Cast out of heaven, they descended to earth. These fallen angels (demons) now fiercely oppose God's plan, knowing their rebellion has a fixed end: eternal punishment in the lake of fire, prepared for them under the full wrath of God.

Their desperate aim is to deceive humanity and delay their own judgment. This is why the Book of Revelation warns that anyone who aligns with the final rebellion—symbolized by taking the mark of the beast—chooses to share in the destiny of the devil and his angels: eternal separation from God and spiritual death.

Hell is made up of human sin and the devil’s cruelty though never meant for mankind but the devil and his angels.

For Humanity: The consequence of sin is that people pursue their desires in an unjust world, only to be tormented in hell before being finally thrown into the lake of fire (God's wrath and final Judgement)

For the Fallen Angels: The consequence of the devil’s rebellion is that his demons feed on human sin. They suffer in anticipation of their judgment and will also be thrown into the lake of fire. These fallen angels are found operating in hell, in space, and on earth.

Beloved, the wage of sin is death and eternal separation from God.

This is why Jesus’s coming as the Son of Man is so profound: for both fallen angels and evil humanity—each God's creation—teamed up to brutalize Him.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Jesus is the only way to the Father. This requires a genuine relationship with Him, and anyone who truly has that relationship will naturally grow in their love for Him and their desire to obey His commandments.

Matthew 16:16-18

Simon Peter replied,“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter [Petros], and on this rock [petra] I will build my church...”
